Infinigon Group Social Media System Guide 1. Landing Page - www.infinigongroup.com Ticker Cloud of what is most Active. Weight indicated by Size of ticker. Select the Log in (enter provided details) or Sign up in order to request a login. 2. Introduction to the Infinigon System – each section will contain a brief write-up explaining what it does. This section is a quick overview of what everything is. Inbox – Streaming “captures” used to display individual captures as they come in matching specific tickers and/or alerts. Cloud – Two large clouds of words appearing in all the “captures” coming in and across current news. Also displays what tickers they match. Settings –Adjust all functionality to tailor your experience. Menu System – A duplicate way to navigate the system. User Information– Modify or Update account information or logout. Grid – Quick view to see what ticker’s mention is rising or falling (depending how you sort) and to get an idea of what is being said about them. Sets – Allow tracking of alerts and tickers in several categories in news feed streaming box/boxes. Search –Search functionality by ticker. Information – Contact and Group Information. 3. Grid – List system of tickers (default login page) It allows the user to sort on different metrics in order to get a sense of what is being actively discussed (or is unseasonably quiet) The cloud displays the common words that have been mentioned allowing for a quick feel of what might be said that would prompt the user to drill down on a ticker. (done by clicking the ticker name). The grid is updated on a ready basis and any updated items will be lighted in yellow to signify a change has been mae to the corresponding row. Ticker – A group of rules tied to a particular subject. Example: Stocks 10m / 5m /3m – relative percentage change in “captures” where relative is the Word Cloud – common words that appear in “captures” having to do with the Ticker. (Size is relative to occurrence of words in the “captures”) Variance – relative percentage change in “captures” where relative is a specific hourly time period. (Comparing Tuesday 1pm-2pm versus all Tuesdays 1pm-2pm.) 4. Grid Settings These allow the user to filter what they are seeing on the Grid. For example if something only receives one mention in the last 10 minutes and now it receives three in the current active 10 minute rolling period, a 200% change would show up in the 10 minute column. In order to filter his data you could set a threshold for a 10 “mention” minimum. Variance setting can show statistical significance, every day around lunch time Mcdonald’s and other food related “captures” rise, a variance minimum will weed these out. Change setting filters based on the 10 minute moving average change percentage. It is calculated by the 10 minute rolling average divided by the 24 hour average. Minimum captures threshold will prevent as in the example above from the top of the sorts on variance and change from being cluttered with indexes that do not get many “captures”. Highlight persistence will determine how long your updated grid rows will be highlighted when there is a change in them. Cloud word frequency sets a minimum number of times a word must appear across the last 10 minutes of captures to display in the Cloud column. 5. Cloud – Word Comparisons The Cloud allows the user to compare words from most recent headlines (right cloud) to trending words on the Infinigon System. Mouse-over “captures” to see the relative relationships of those words including which indexes they appear in. Tracked words appear in red. Infinigon Cloud – recent common words that appear across all of the Tickers . Headline Cloud – common words that appear in titles of the most recent articles across hundreds of sources. Highlighted Words – when a word is selected, all other words that appear with it are also highlighted. Tickers – when selecting words on the cloud relevant ticker appear in the middle. 6. Cloud Settings These allow the user to filter what they are seeing on the Cloud. Word Count Range – set the number of times the word must appear in “captures” in order to appear in the left cloud. Warning: setting to 1 or 2 may cause performance issues. Words to include – this will set words to the color red. Words should be typed and hit Enter to register them. (Save to set them) Words to exclude – this will set words to hide. 7. Signals Settings Signals can be managed from the box to the left; make changes or setting them on or off. A new Signal can be created and can be triggered across various criteria. For example a Signal can be set based on breaking a rate of change, variance or simply by matching words. Signal List – manage your signals by selecting them from the signal list. Name Signal – this box is where to name or edit a signal name. Tags – Set tags to trigger signals on. (type to begin selecting from list) A tag of Equities will select all equities. On / Off – Select signal on in order to receive pushes. Rate of Change – set level of rate of change in order to create a signal Variance – set level of variance in order to create a signal Words to trigger – set words that will trigger signals on once all other set criteria are met. (can be only criteria) Example: “Fire” would create an alert when a “mention” matches. Words to not trigger – set words that will not trigger on. Example: “Fire” trigger “sale” not trigger. A “mention” that read: “Fire sale on Boeing planes” would not create a signal. Email / SMS – Turn on email or SMS notifications. Indexes – Additionally or alternatively set particular tickers (Indexes) to trigger signals on. Example: “Fire” on Ticker: “BA”. Notification delay – set time delay between a Signal being triggered. If time delay set to 5 “Fire” on “BA” would only trigger once every 5 minutes if actively being mentioned. 8. Signals - Streaming Captures This page allows 4 “streams” to be set. Each stream can be set to a Signal that has been created as described in the previous section. Any time a Signal is triggered the appropriate mention will be pushed to the page in realtime. 20 “captures” are stored in history at a time. Signal Selection – Select a created Signal to display in real-time. Realtime matches to signal “FDA”. Realtime matches to signal “trading”. Realtime matches to signal “Words”. 9. Inbox The Inbox combines all of the signals into one streaming feed. The Inbox tab also contains a cloud of links within the captures, trending Tickers across Signals and a cloud of Users. Ticker Cloud – sized by frequency of appearance. Signal name that has been triggered. User Cloud – sized by number of “captures“ created. Link Cloud – sized by number of appearances. Ticker matching the particular signal. Username that created the “mention”. “mention” – full text
