sharply resulting in Jockey K de Melo being unseated from this gelding. KINSHASA (K de
Melo) then struck the inside running rail and fell. As a result of this incident JUST A MOOVA
(B Jacobson) and NEW GOLDEN AGE (Wes Marwing) were switched out.
d) Jockey B Jacobson the rider of JUST A MOOVA (18.75 lengths) reported this gelding took no
interest in running.
e) Jockey B Lerena the rider of VALCAR (0.50 lengths) reported this colt not striding out freely
in running.

d) The Veterinary Surgeon scratched AZNERAK (M V’Rensburg) at the start as a result of a
bleeding puncture wound on this filly’s left side neck. AZNERAK was escorted to the
specimen collection area where a specimen was taken for analysis. Trainer W Whitehead
acting for Trainer C Scott was advised (TN). Mr Scott’s head groom was questioned and this
matter has been adjourned.
e) JE SUIS SILVER (M Ntuli) shifted in near the 700 metre mark resulting in TUTTA MAGEE (BRZ)
(T Godden) having to be eased momentarily.
f) Jockey M Ntuli the rider of JE SUIS SILVER appeared before the Board with regard to this
incident and was advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground in races
in future.
g) BOMBSHELL GIRL (Wes Marwing) was hanging in throughout and was difficult to assist in the
latter stages.
h) NATIONAL AGENDA (*S Moodley) was hanging in, in the straight, shifted in approaching the
100 metre mark resulting in LILY GRAY (M Winnaar) having to be eased and TUTTA MAGEE
(BRZ) (T Godden) being momentarily cramped along the inside running rail.
i) Apprentice S Moodley signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.7, in that
as the rider of NATIONAL AGENDA, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to
the runners on his inside approaching the 100 metre mark. He was suspended for a period
of 7 days (Suspended from the 15 January – 21 January 2017, bdi)
j) NATIONAL AGENDA (*S Moodley) returned post race having cast the right fore shoe.
