His last stop before Siena was as an assistant
women’s coach at The College of St. Rose from
1994-97. In his final season, the team was 29-1 and
was ranked No. 1 in the nation.

last nine years of coaching at Syracuse University.
Syracuse women's basketball team has averaged 22 wins a
year for the last four years, bringing them success like never
before seen at Syracuse. At Syracuse University, Matt has
worked with many players that went on to play
professionally after college.

Ilze Luneau is a basketball entertainer,
and one of the best ballhandlers in the
world.
Ilze was an All American at the College of St. Rose,
and left as all time leading rebounder, assist leader,
and 2nd all time leading scorer in school history.
Come and be a part of a great basketball
academy! You will learn the skills that it
takes to be a successful basketball player.
You will be learning skills, and have time to
apply those skills in game situations.
Prior to joining the Orange, Matt Luneau coached for one
season as an assistant at the University of Vermont.
Before joining the Catamounts, Luneau spent five seasons
as an assistant women’s basketball coach at Siena
College.
Luneau began his coaching career in 1990 as an assistant
boys’ basketball coach at Peoples Academy in Morrisville,
Vt. He was an assistant for the men’s team at Johnson
State College from 1991-93 and the head boys’ varsity
Ilze has appeared on ESPN, Ellen
DeGeneres Show and The Tonight's
Show with Jay Leno.
