Plate armour punching Bodkin, probably for a cross bow and designed to punch holes in plate armour. There were some pieces of plate being worn c.1300 by the wealthy were wearing full harness of plate with mail infilling the gaps – under arms, groin area etc. (cost like a top range Ferrari today!) 2.
