Credit Form ECTS points exam 6 Getting to know the knowledge and understanding by the student basic concepts, phenomena, relationship regularities and dependencies in the area of organization and management. In particular, equipping the student with the knowledge in the field of fundamental and crucial categories of concepts from the scope of organization, its components, internal mechanisms of functioning, relationship with the environment and management, its functions, processes and styles. The transfer of knowledge and skills of recognizing organizational-managerial problems, analyzing the causes of their occurrence, selection and application of adequate methods for their solutions on the operational and strategic levels. The transfer of knowledge and skills in the sphere of design, development, implementation and evaluation in the area of organization and management. LEARNING OUTCOMES No W1 W2 W3 Student, who completed the course: in the scope of KNOWLEDGE: knows the basic terminology in the area of organization and management has knowledge on basic components of the phenomenon of organization and management, their types, classification, the course of evolution and the changes taking place has knowledge on the criteria of efficiency serving the assessment of phenomena and processes in the area of organization and management W4 has knowledge on the management system and its components. In particular, he knows the assumptions of strategies, organizational structure, styles of management, organizational culture, human resources policy W5 has knowledge on modern concepts, models and methods of management, their properties possibilities, application, potential effects of implementation. in the scope of SKILLS: U1 can identify, describe in terms of causes and results organizational-managerial problems, analyze the ways of their solving and substantively justify the choice of a particular concept / method of management in given conditions U2 can work out the procedure, scheme of proceedings in relation to the typical, repetitive and routine actions and processes occurring in the organization, e.g. the procedure for recruitment and selection for the vacancies, scheme of a decision-making process in the reference to a given situation and problem U3 can recognize the kinds, types and categories of elements in the system of management, assigning them the appropriate properties U4 can explain the dependencies between particular elements of the management system, e.g. organizational strategy-structure, organizational structure-organizational culture, etc., their mutual influence and conditions of a proper matching on the background of changes in the environment of the organization U5 can suggest improvements in the organizational-managerial sphere, using the knowledge of modern concepts and methods of management in the scope of SOCIAL COMPETENCES: K1 shows the awareness of the importance of knowledge in the field of organization and management due to his own career, ability to cooperate in work teams, and efficiency of work for the good of the organization .
