1. Welcome and Updates from Sports Clubs
All
TW welcomed everyone and asked for updates
TJ/CA – Hockey – Men’s finished top of the league with a goal difference of
+96 – Mixed team are looking to take part in a tournament soon
KE – Netball – 1st team are 3rd in the table – only a couple of games remain in
the season
AQ – Basketball – Semi-final of the cup on Tuesday – top of the league with 1
game to play
TB – Women’s Basketball – top of the league – 2/3 games left to play
SC/JB – American Football – season is over – disappointed not to make the
play offs
SD – same as previously – win on Sunday
RD/MB/CB – Cheerleading – having a fundraiser on Monday – entry £3 each

TW – asked Hockey about a new pitch that he has seen. Happy to stay with
HSBC for now – problem of transport is not so bad with the use of the
minibus

TW – all passengers need their passport details need filling in on the website
– emergency contact details must also be filled in
TW – we are in a different hotel this time to the last time that we went to
Lloret
5. Sports Awards
TW
TW – 4th April – Charlton Athletic Football Club - tickets on sale – cut-off date
for ticket sales is Friday 28th March
6. Open Day’s
TW
TW – looking for a big sports presence at Avery Hill in particular as societies
are more likely to be present at Greenwich
7. Varsity

MP - 2 April at Medway – information is now on the website
SC/JB – could American Football and Cheerleading do something together if
there is space there?
MP – to check with Medway staff
8. AGM’s/Committee Elections
TW/MP
TW – asked for these to happen ASAP so that we know the committees for
the joint AGM
9. Any Other Business
All
TW – Tour – room/coach allocations are being done now
MP – Old Boys day – 17th May
KE – probably want to use the outside courts for netball
TJ – can hockey have an hour longer?
SC – could American Football use the airdome?
TW – Team photos – AQ – basketball could do theirs at Varsity – other teams
suggested Old Boys day
