ColoSpace, Inc. Continues to Grow as it Acquires Data Center Competitor in
Waltham
WALTHAM, MA - ColoSpace, Inc., the leading provider of data center colocation and
managed services in New England has acquired the assets of New England Data
Services (NEDS). ColoSpace migrated all of the existing NEDS customers into one of
the five data centers located in Waltham, Rockland, Somerville, and Marlborough,
MA or Bedford, NH.
ColoSpace managed the migration by utilizing existing raised floor space in its
current data centers. “The depth of experience within our team made the transition
of the new customers a smooth and efficient one,” said ColoSpace Co-Founder Aaron
Sawchuk. “All clients were successfully migrated within a short time frame.”
John Fox, COO of ColoSpace, had similar sentiments, stating, “Because of the great
work from the technicians of both NEDS and ColoSpace, the transition went
smoothly, and several companies were able to upgrade their services, hardware, and
networks when moving into the new space, resulting in minimum downtime to their
operations, and significant improvement to their performance.”
ColoSpace operates five data centers in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and is
the largest privately owned data center and managed services operator in the
region. Services include data center colocation, backup and storage, disaster
recovery, managed security and enterprise cloud solutions. ColoSpace provides
24/7 support in over 18 technical specialties.
