Course Description
This course is designed to introduce students to many of the topics that they
will encounter in a college level course. This math elective should be
considered by students that are serious about attending college or technical
school. The topics include an introduction to probability and statistics,
frequency distributions, displaying and describing data, probability and
counting rules, discrete probability distributions, the normal distribution,
confidence intervals, simulation, and game theory. (prerequisite: Three years
math or instructor approval.
