Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT) welcomes applications from Chinese learners
wishing to develop their knowledge and expertise in the English language and to prepare for
study at a UK university.

The College has Tier 4 Highly Trusted Status and is committed to ensuring that all
international applications and admissions are conducted in accordance with UK Border
Agency rules.
Basingstoke College of Technology is happy to accept applications for places on its UK
courses that have been arranged through agents operating overseas. Chinese learners
applying to study in the UK will be invited to undertake video conferencing credibility
interviews as part of the application process.

The College’s fees for International students on full-time courses are:
University level courses £5,800 pa
Courses will last three years; the first two years will be spent studying at BCoT, the final
year at a university such as Southampton Solent. Fees include all tuition, registration,
examination and language training. Not included are travel, accommodation, and costs for
living, books, personal equipment, educational trips and visits.
Commission: The College will pay agents commission at 20% of the international fee.
Entry requirements:
To study at BCoT, students applying for Level 3 courses must have attained English
Language Skills at IELTS Level 5.5 or equivalent, and for higher level courses an IELTS score
of at least 6.5 is needed. The College requires evidence of attainment and test results must
be stamped by the organisation that officially administered the tests.
