Cultural Connection: Paper, Scissors, Rock, Petals!
We all love the game Paper, Scissors, Rock and have had many laughs trying to beat our friends.
Fijian children also like to play the game but have a slightly different version involving a flower!

Each round:

Players count down before revealing their choice of either paper, scissors or rock.
•
The round continues if all of the players either reveal the same choice or if all three choices are
revealed at once.
If only two outcomes are revealed then…
Paper beats rock
Rock beats scissors
Scissors beats paper
Once a winner is found for the round they then get to remove a life (or a petal if flowers are nearby)
from their opponents.
