19th LET IT SWIM TIGERFISHING TOURNAMENT – JOZINI DAM
8th – 9th APRIL 2016

Dear Sponsor/Angler,
A little over 3 months has passed since the 18th Let it Swim Tiger Fishing Tournament and
we have already received 15 registration requests for 2016 some of whom have already
made payment to secure their place. This is an indication that we are doing things right
and that anglers want to be part of this event and all that it stands for. The LISTFT scoring
system is unique and we believe that we are sending out a strong message to other
angling events that this is indeed an enviro-friendly option.
The Let it Swim website has been updated and is currently open for registrations.
The 2015 event was arguably the best tournament we have had to date and this is due to
the supportive role and very kind contributions of the sponsors and indeed the anglers
who participate and give generously towards the raffle. The 2015 attendance figure was
just short of 200 anglers – a number agreed upon with Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife and
proceeds of the raffle, an amount of R15 000, was donated to the Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife
Northern Zululand Honorary Officer Group for assistance with the rehabilitation and
maintenance of the Golela campsite within the Pongola Nature Reserve.
Results of the 18th Let it Swim TFT are available on the website and also appear in the
latest issue of the African Fisherman Magazine – Volume 25 Number 6 (see attachment).
We, at Let it Swim TFT, understand the budgetary constraints and pressure that many
sponsors are under and are ever grateful that they find the time and wherewithal to

support our event. With this said we are earnestly requesting your consideration for
involvement in the 19th LISTFT to be held in April 2016 and we would appreciate
contributions in any form.
Apparel sponsorship will again be available on the shirts and caps at a cost of R4 000 and
R3 500 respectively. Approximately 220 of each item will be manufactured and Sponsors
have the opportunity to have their company logos embroidered onto these items.
Any and all sponsorship in the form of cash donations, apparel, prizes, week-ends away,
boat-pack giveaways and services are, as always, gratefully accepted and appreciated.
