Debate 1
1. The issue
Women driving.
2. Reasons for the issue
a. In disaster situation, when a female's father or husband is busy or sick and around her
no driver, she can save a life if she drove herself!
b. Ladies want to feel unbounded and independency. It's very important that ladies stop
relaying on men. When ladies want to go to shopping or a coffee shop they can do it by
themselves.
3. Reasons against the issue
a. Females who don't have strong purposes to drive like students or jobless females
shouldn't drive. Because of the rule and religion in Saudi Arabia kingdom.
b. In Saudi Arabia women tend to live close each other for their general safety and
comfort. Thus there is always somebody closely. Some lady might have a strong
purpose to drive but there are resolutions like drivers, neighbors, and their family
members, even transportation of companies.
4. Which side won the debate? Why? (4 lines)
The persons who agree with females driving were winning in the debate because
they give for us strong causes and they support their causes with examples and facts
from our country. Furthermore, they convinced the other side until they say: the
whole females driving thing needs along time to go through a certain development.
5. What are 3 other reasons the losing side could have given to strengthen their
argument? (4 lines)
Females driving may lead to numerous problems because it’s a new thing in our country
society such as: teenager misses will drive and will have very freedom life, which
affect them harmfully. Second reason is، streets of Saudi are extremely crowded,
which is the key reason for accident occurs; think of that if females also drive in these
crowded streets? Third reason is, females can’t handlebar cars problems and trouble
in the street because of their physicality. It’s over their job.

Saudi women should travel with her Mahram/guardian.
7. Reasons for the issue
a. One of the culturally in Saudi; Islam protects females and their rights. That is why a
Muslim female should always have one of her male relatives.
b. Ladies should travel with a male Mahram because Saudi females used to depend on
men to do most of the job such as carrying heavy stuff.
8. Reasons against the issue
a. Several females don’t have Mahram. So, it’s impossible to prevent them from travel
just because they don’t have Mahram.
b. It is possible for women do everything by themselves.
9. Which side won the debate? Why? (4 lines)
The other side that doesn’t agree with this issue were winning the debate. Because they
told us about the difficult problem aspect Saudi women, they present a question for
the other side like if the females don’t have father and uncles or brothers how can she
travel? Is she needs to travel for learning or treatment it is not impossible to stop her
from success their dreams just because she do not have Mahram.
10. What are 3 other reasons the losing side could have given to strengthen their
argument? (4 lines)
They should support their reasons with greater evidence. If females travel without
mahram they face numerous problem, which can be stolen, or diseases. Moreover, ladies
while traveling needs help from strong people like men. Plus, Saudi women can’t live
lonely and handle the living street without mahram.

a. Technology develops children social skills.
b. Technology essential to children’s achievement.
13. Reasons against the issue
a. Technology begins a lot of behavior problems.
b. Acceptance from call phones sexing, and sexing means the action of sending sexual
taxes or pictures, and most shared in call phones. It has a lot of hazard to kids.
14. Which side won the debate? Why? (4 lines)
Who for this topic is won on the debate. Because their provide a reasonable reason and
persuasion reasons. They view way were very helpful and ambitious. Also look to
technology in advantage way, which can be extremely benefit for the kids in the
future. So, because of that they won the debate.
15. What are 3 other reasons the losing side could have given to strengthen their
argument? (4 lines)
They use fact cause but their cause weren’t strong. They can say technology will
influence children damagingly if they use it a lot they won’t pay care to there lessons in
the school. So it will affect their learning. Additionally, technology can damage the
children’s eyes and they may become law sight. Moreover, children can be addicted to
technology, which reason to isolation.
