Trip Updates for our 2017 season:
We now have the dates and times
for our two Bus Trips Without
the Bus events, and you are in for
a treat!
May 24 - Dayton for the Wright
Bros. Bicycle Shop, the US Air
Force Museum & Clarion Park!
On June 15, we will have a show
from the Ladies of Liberty! This
trio of beautiful ladies will do a
USO/Andrew Sisters style show,
filled with great music, comedy,
and Patriotism! The cost for the
11:30 a.m. buffet lunch and the
show is just $40.
On September 12, we will have
the family group LINK Union.
The seven members can play
eighteen different instruments
and they put on a variety show
that will be filled with uplifting
songs and toe-tapping melodies!
This is a 4:30 p.m. dinner, and
the cost is just $50.

July 24-31 –Pacific Northwest
with Washington, Oregon and the
California coast (Sold Out)
August 15-18 - Mackinac Island
with a carriage tour, lunch at the
Grand Hotel, & Meijer Gardens.
Sept 14-21– Southern National
Parks with Grand Canyon North
Rim, Bryce, Zion, Lake Powell and
Monument Valley.
October 21-27—ICELAND! For
Northern Lights tour. (Sold Out)

take another bus if we have at

If you see that a trip you like is
sold out, give us a call and we
can place your name on a waiting
list. Often times we have last
minute cancellations, and could
perhaps get you a spot.
We also have people who have
requested a roommate for some
of the trips. If you are a single
lady, and interested in a trip, it is
possible that we could match you
up with a roommate.

Wednesday, May 3rd, at
9:30 a.m.—Patrick Motl,
the IUK Associate Dean of
the School of Sciences, as
well as Associate Professor
of Physics, will talk with us
about
Astronomy
and
NASA! Ever wonder about
the stars and the ongoing
US space program? Patrick
is an excellent speaker, who
you will enjoy hearing.
Wednesday, June 7th at
9:30 a.m.— “Name That
Tune” is the program
given by Amy Shumway,
and it will be audience
participation in guessing!
Amy’s degree in Music
and her 38
years of
teaching piano, have
made her an expert, so
this should be lots of fun!
Wednesday, July 5th, at
11:30 a.m.—It’s our annual
PITCH-IN PICNIC, with
BINGO! Tableware, drinks
and fried chicken will be
provided. Please bring a
large covered dish with your
favorite salad, vegetable or
dessert. We will have lunch
and then play several
rounds of BINGO with the
bank providing the prizes!

Things to know:
 Motorcoach trips leave from the WalMart parking lot in Kokomo.
 Trips are 1st come, 1st served, with money and completed reservation form.
Asking us to “hold a spot” does not
count as a reservation.
 A final itinerary is mailed to your home
2-3 weeks prior to the departure date.
 We provide transportation to the airport
for fly trips, with at least 10 travelers.
 Non-member guests may travel with you
one time before joining the club.
 Non-member guests may attend the
monthly seminars for $7 per person.
 If you do not have a roommate, we will
try to find someone for you, but this is
not guaranteed.
