1. Conduct a Case Study on a subject using the following methods of data collection:
(i) Observation method - in two different situations
(ii) Questionnaire - for the parents of the subject
(iii) Interview method - interviewing the subject
Prepare a case file with the above information under the following heads.
(i) Personal information(interview)
(ii) Academic information (questionnaire)
(iii) Behavioural information (observation)
2. Contact a psychologist working in any field and carry out an interview.
Prepare a list of at least 8-10 questions to be asked. Some possible questions could be:
(i) What kind of education is necessary for the particular job.
(ii) Which college / university would you recommend
(iii) Are there many jobs available today in your area of work
(iv) What would a typical day at work be for you
(v) What motivated you to enter this line of work
Write a report of your interview.
3. Surf the internet and find out the names of books ( fiction/non-fiction) or films which have
reference to applications of psychology.
Read the book or watch the film and write a brief synopsis.
4. Prepare a glossary of all the new words/terms you have come across so far while studying
Psychology.
