The Story of the “Little Mermaid
Adventure Hunt.”
A now 18 year Ariel has officially return back to the sea on a hunt for
her best friend Flounder. A new sea witch by the name of Tara has
kidnap him and is planning on eating him for dinner. Ariel leaves
Prince Eric, his manservant Grimsby and their English sheepdog Max
to go back to Alantica. Before leaving on her adventure she visits her
six sisters (Aquate, Andrina, Artista, Attina, Adella, and Alana) and her
father King Triton. The sea has changed a lot since Ariel first left when
she was 16. Ariel smiled at the memory of her first leaving. She had
traded her voice for a pair of legs. Because of Scuttle the seagull the
first thing she did when she got to the surface was to brush her hair
with fork that he called a dinglehopper. Her goal was to retrieve a kiss
of love within three days so her legs would be permanent. Sebastian
the Jamaican crab kept following her telling her to come back to the
sea. He even sung a song telling her how they always think the
seaweed is greener in somebody else’s lake. She didn’t listen fell in
love with the prince and married him. They lived happily ever after on
the surface since. Ariel now have to go on an adventure back in the
sea to get flounder back, but she needs YOUR help! =)
FUN FACT: The original Disney movie “The Little Mermaid” came
out November 14, 1989 and Jodi Benson was the voice of Ariel.

Game Directions
• The goal of the game is to make it to the end and find
flounder!
• First you read the story (make sure you remember
important details)
• You then “click play the game” (make sure you have your
dice ready)
• You roll your dice then move your sea shell according the
number you get.
• Do whatever your sea shell land on. If you land on a
question click it then you’ll be taken to the question.
• Keep repeating the steps until you win the game and find
flounder.

Follow the steps below…
Gameboard: Print out slide 8 so you can
follow along with the computer.
Game Pieces: Print out slide 5 and cut out
the sea shell then glue them to heavy stock
paper. The shells will represent each player
and where they are. Everyone shells will
start at start on the gameboard.
? Cards: Print out slides 5 - 7, then cut into
individual question cards. Then glue the
cards to heavy stock paper
Checkbook: Have somebody keep score of
the others’ moves and who make it to the
end first.
