Audition time slots - Mainstage Center for the Arts

AUDITION NOTICE:
WHERE: Mainstage Center for the Arts Academy Hall
(27S Black Horse Pike)
WHEN: Friday September 16th from 5pm-9:30pm AND
Saturday September 17th from 12pm-6pm
Callbacks if needed: Sunday September 18th from 11am-3pm
(if you are needed for callbacks, we will contact you via email)
PRODUCTION DATES will be November 18th, 19th, and 20th
WHO: Actors, Singers, and Dancers aged High School-Adult

WHAT TO PREPARE:
-16-32 bars of a musical theatre piece in the style of the show-please bring a backtrack on a CD, MP3 player or phone
(please refrain from singing anything from the show)
-A short comedic monologue (1-2 minutes)
-Headshot and resume (if available)
-Completed audition form with conflicts listed
-Dance shoes and comfortable clothes because there will be a
dance audition as well!
AUDITION SETUP:
Please choose a time slot to come to on Friday or Saturday. There will
be a group dance audition at the beginning of each time slot before we
see you sing and act.
We ask that you please arrive to the audition before your time slot
begins so that you give yourself enough time to change into your
dance shoes and warm up. We will begin teaching the dance promptly
at the start of each time slot. After the dance audition, you will
perform your song and monologue and then be free to go!
Please fill out an audition form and conflict sheet prior to your
arrival. Staff will be at the audition locations beginning Friday at
4:30pm and Saturday at 11:30am.

This could be great for anyone who would like to be involved but cannot commit
enough time to perform or if you are interested in helping with the production.

*****College Students!!! If you are away at college and know you can only
commit a very small amount of time but would still like to be involved performing
