Maths Challenge Homework
This week we have continued counting in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s. We have then used this
knowledge to support us with helping us create arrays to represent different
multiplication facts, e.g. 3x2=
For your homework this week there are two challenges;
Challenge Number 1:
Keep practising chanting in your 2’s, 5’s and 10’s. Then see if you can complete
the grid below:

End of Year Expectation for Year 1:
Identify and represent numbers using objects and pictorial representations including
the number line, and use the language of: equal to, more than, less than, most, least.
Use these number: 3, 4,5, 6, 7 (You could make your own number cards).
- Use 2 of the number cards to make a number more than 60.
- Use 2 of the number cards to make a number less than 40.
- What is the smallest 2 digit number you can make?
- What is the largest 2 digit number you can make?
- How do you know this is the largest number?
