The aim of the seminar is to inform and engage
key external stakeholders and Tusla staffs on
progress within Tusla’s Research Office in order
to build on existing partnerships and to further
promote a shared understanding of Tusla’s
research function.

Objectives
To inform Tusla staffs and relevant partners about the current work
of Tusla’s Research Office
To share with Tusla staffs and relevant partners key developments
in embedding a research empowerment culture within the Agency
To communicate to Tusla staffs and relevant partners the current
research priorities and future research themes
To share with Tusla staffs and relevant partners the research ethics
processes and procedures to be complied with
To inform Tusla staffs and relevant partners on the development of
and access to electronic research and information resources
To agree, work with and learn from key partners in support of the
development of TUSLA’s research culture
Learning Outcomes
• To inform and engage key stakeholders both
internal and external to the Agency on the
implementation of Tusla’s Research Strategy
2015-2017 and ongoing activity
• To facilitate dialogue between Tusla’s Research
Office and relevant stakeholders on the
implementation of Tusla’s Research Strategy and
listen to the audience’s views on possible future
directions for collaboration on Tusla’s research
themes, processes and functions.
