Summary of Process – exact procedure may be found in TAAF Cavalcade, Manual of Procedures,
Article 4. Deadline for submission is August 15.
 The individual or individual’s designated representative submitting a proposed amendment
must attend the Legislative Issues Committee Meeting to explain the intent, discuss, and
answer any questions concerning the proposal. Failure to attend the meeting will result in the
legislation being withdrawn by the Committee and the proposal will not be presented for
considerations by the general membership.
 The Constitution and Bylaws may be amended at the regular meeting of the Executive Board by
a two-thirds (2/3) vote and by a simple majority of the general membership.
 Sports Rules change requires a simple majority vote of the general membership.
 Manual of Procedures may be amended by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the Executive Board at any
regular or called meeting.
