History of Sculpture and Elements of Art: Your First Presentation!
1. Go to web site:
http://www.visual-arts-cork.com/sculpture-history.htm (the history of art)
2. Find the era to which you (and your partner) have been assigned.
3. Within that era, find one piece of sculpture about which to create a presentation using
Evernote, Educreations, or another app. Paper option: Print the picture, and create a poster
that includes your information.
4. The presentation should include:
 Name of the era and general facts about era
 Name of the artist and general facts about artist
 A picture of sculpture that isn’t blurry and is easy for us to see
 Description and/or any background on sculpture
 A quick formal analysis of the work…with most apps you can record your analysis
of line, shape, color, space, value, texture, etc and draw right on the picture as you
talk.
50 points!
Graded on all the dots above, 10 points each. If you can make your presentation creative and interesting and/or
entertaining, 10 bonus points may be yours!
