Dear Ruth,
Why is your participation in the Just in Time mission so important and impactful?
Because the generous contribution of $200 from Xi Sigma Pi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will empower Just in
Time to assist over 850 young people this year! Only through our collaboration with partners like you can we
create the consistent foundation of support needed to help youth become more confident, capable and
connected.
We’ve learned from the statistics that, without a safety net and a community of caring adults, foster youth are
at risk of being homeless, unemployed, under-educated, and on the path towards life-long dependence or
prison. Yet, because of you, young people like Patsy, Monique, Alexya and Jesus now have comfortable, stable
homes; Hakim navigated the journey through community college and on to a four-year university with the
guidance and encouragement of his JIT Financial Fitness Advisor; and Spenser had a family to take care of him
when his wisdom teeth needed to be pulled.
With College Bound coming up in June and then Pathways to Financial Power in September, there’ll be hundreds
more young people partnering with Just in Time staff and volunteers to reach their goals and realize their
dreams. We couldn’t meet these needs without the help of caring people like you and the members of Xi Sigma
Pi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.
