Parents,
In order to meet Speaking and Learning standards in Common Core we are
incorporating this Conversation Checklist. There are 12 conversation norms that we
have been learning. The students will be assessed on a yes, sometimes, or a no basis.
The checklist is worth 12 points and will be used daily in the classroom during
discussions with partners and groups. The checklist will be sometimes used as a quiz
grade or will be combined and used as a test grade throughout the year.
