innovation and transfer of knowledge
RESEARCH
Companies can externalise research tasks to
universities and at the same time can be
centres of applied research
TRAINING
Universities can be training providers also
for companies, taking in consideration
companies needs and constrains.
Companies can be placement opportunities
for university students
The main problem identified is that these practices are followed mainly by big companies and not
by SMEs. Public sector should be an active actor in promoting collaboration and providing funds.
