How do I get my Hallmark Virtual Reality experience started?
To get ready for the VR experience start with your mobile phone.
1. The Hallmark VR Viewer should work with most iPhones and Android phones. Here are the details to see if
your phone will fit:
 Phone size maximums are approximately 6 inch long X 3 1/8 inch wide by ½ inch thick with case.
 For larger phones, you may need to remove the case for your phone to fit.

2. Install or update the YouTube App from the App Store or Google Play.
 YouTube for Android version 11.29.55 or later
 YouTube for iOS version 11.30 or later
3. An internet connection
 Wi-Fi connection strongly recommended to limit data usage and for best video playback
 If a cellular connection is used, a strong signal will provide better video playback
4. Remove the Hallmark VR Viewer from the greeting card
 The Hallmark VR Viewer is attached to the inside of the greeting card
 Open up the greeting card
 Carefully tear off the viewer to separate it from the greeting card
 Push in on the face of the viewer to pop it up
5. Open your mobile phone BROWSER and enter the link from the viewer. Do NOT use Google search.
For iPhone, use the Safari browser.
For Android, use the Chrome browser.
Be sure to type the link exactly.
An example link hall.mk/racecar is pictured.
The link opens a landing page.
Download the YouTube app if you don’t have it.
Press the play button to open the video in the YouTube app.
Click OPEN
On an Android phone, make sure to choose Open with “YouTube”, by clicking on the YouTube play icon. Click on “Just
Once” or “Always” to open the YouTube app.
6. Confirm that you are viewing the video in the YouTube App.
iPhone:

7. How do I make VR videos work with my Hallmark VR viewer?
Tap the viewer icon
in the lower right corner of the video.
Tap in the middle of the video if you don’t see it.
Rotate your phone
and it should look
like this. 
The phone is now
ready to insert in
the Hallmark VR
Viewer
8. Slide the phone into the Hallmark VR viewer
Simply slide the phone in the slot in the side of the viewer. You may need to remove your case. Make sure that
your phone is centered in the viewer. If you have done it right, you should be able to look into the viewer not see the
center line. Be sure to hold both sides of the viewer so your phone does not fall out! The Hallmark VR Viewer will
not act as a protective case for your phone.

9. What are some tips for a better experience?
 Find a space that you can turn around without bumping into anything!
 Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi or cellular signal
 Adjust the volume on your phone so you can hear the video sound track

