entrepreneur. He is the host of “The Bill Cunningham Show,” Tribune
Broadcasting’s nationally syndicated daytime talk show.

Bill and his wife, his high school sweetheart, the Honorable Penelope R. Cunningham
of the Ohio Court of Appeals, both grew up in the Cincinnati area. Bill was inducted
into the local basketball hall of fame, and was named one of the top 100 high school
basketball players of all time. They have one son and two grandchildren.
He is a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati and the University of Toledo College
of Law.
Tom Griswold
Pride in the Park Co-Chair
It is with great sadness that our beloved co-chair
and friend, Tom Griswold, passed away in January.
Mr. Griswold enjoyed a long history with the
district, having been a teacher, coach, mentor,
friend, administrator, and Board of Education
member since the fall of 1957. As many of you
know, he was an enthusiastic figure in the history
of public education in Deer Park. His fierce devotion to providing a quality education
in Deer Park reflected his unshakable commitment to every child that walked
through the doors of our schools. All of us honor his memory by continuing his
passion for the students of Deer Park.
As co-chair, Mr. Griswold devoted countless hours making phone calls and writing
letters to many of his former athletes. He was passionate about making the dream of
synthetic turf a reality by the fall of 2016. Please consider making a donation in Mr.
Griswold’s memory and being a part of fulfilling his dream!
