INTERVIEWERS INSTRUCTIONS
Introduction to the Interview.
Thank person for attending interview.
Advise that the Queensland Corrective Services as a concerned employer, is
interested to find out the reasons for why people leave the organisation.
The information that the person may be able to supply will help QCS identify more
effective strategies to retain staff. The information they provide therefore, will be of
great benefit.
The information collected is confidential and when collated, the forms will be
destroyed.
Person is not obligated to answer any question they do not feel comfortable with.
Their honesty however would be appreciated to enable QCS to get accurate
information.
Explain format for interview, that the person will be asked a number of questions and
that their responses will be recorded (even with Yes/No answers - record responses
on lines provided).
Advise that the interview will probably take about half an hour.
