Otherwise, your child may be kept in at playtime. The children complete the activity and learn 16 words. • ‘High Frequency words’ to be learnt by the end of Year 5. P.E. cont….. • Swimming is on Thursdays and takes place at Northolt pool. We travel by coach. ALL children are expected to attend. • Swimming kit must be brought in a separate bag and should include: • ‘Speedos’ or tight swimming trunks for boys • One-piece swimming costumes for girls • Towel • Deodorant (only if usually worn) • Swimming kits MUST go home on the same day!! • All girls and boys MUST wear a swimming cap PE cont… • In school, children will be taught: • Autumn Term : Gym/Dance, Rugby/Netball • Spring term : Swimming, Cricket/Tennis • Summer term : Gym/Dance, Athletics General issues • Attendance is very important. The required national expectation is 95% or above. • If time is needed to be taken off for a holiday, request a sheet from the office. • If your child is ill, either phone the school on the day to notify them, or send in a letter when your child returns. General issues • Correct uniform must be worn every day. Please ensure that it is all clearly named. • Trainers may be brought in for use at breaktime, but otherwise black school shoes must be worn. • No jewellery will be allowed to be worn in school, except stud earrings & religious jewellery with an explanatory note.
