Risk assessments & the site
• Kingswood carries out comprehensive risk
assessments for all activities
• All activities are led by qualified Kingswood
leaders
• There is a first aider on site; for minor injuries,
Cromer has a small hospital and the centre
has links with a doctor
• There will be a fire drill on the day of our
arrival
26th February
• Depart school at 11 am with luggage & packed
lunch
• We stop for the toilet (but not food/ drink) at
Peterborough services
• Arrive 3pm
• Go straight to dormitories ( 2 x 6 boys; 1 x 5, 1 x 6
girls)
• All in the same block with teacher rooms
opposite boys and girls dormitories
• Begin activities straight away

• Please bring to us in a named envelope before
we go
• One visit in our stay – can buy a few souvenirs
What to pack

Swimming kit & spare towel for the pool party

Warm clothes, layers & water proof coat (gloves, scarf etc. too)
Waterproofs are not provided!
• Named water bottle
• Books, playing cards, games
• NO electronics but can bring cameras (named & children must take full
responsibility)
PLEASE PLEASE NAME EVERYTHING!!!
Bedding IS provided
Communication
• Children are not allowed to bring phones with
them
• We will email the school daily with an update
which will then be sent to you
• We will update Twitter when possible –
internet access is not reliable
• I will be in regular contact with school – please
contact them if you have any queries
Medicines
• Please fill in the medication form with
instructions on how to administer any
medication – without this, we cannot give
medicine. We need this on the day we depart!
• We will take Calpol for emergencies but will
contact you for permission before
administering
3rd March – return home
• We will be leaving at lunch-time, hopefully
returning between 4 and 5 pm, depending on
the traffic.
