Activity #1 On the fly teaching: 1. Practice finding an image on the internet and taking a screenshot. Think about how you would utilize these features to teach and engage. Step 1: Find a picture/diagram online via your device web browser. Step 2: Try taking a screenshot of any picture/diagram on your device’s screen: PRESS HOME BUTTON and SLEEP BUTTON (on top of device) TOGETHER. The picture is now located in the album/camera roll of the device. Step 3: Open BaiBoard 3 Step 4: select icon across the top to Import Image Step 5: Now image is available to use. Practice annotation, rotation, manipulation of the material. 2. Take a picture or directly import picture from the internet from within BaiBoard: Step 1: select import icon (has paperclip symbol) Step 2: select ‘Import Picture’ b. ‘Snap Web’ – opens web browser within app to grab anything from the web; select ‘Images’ on Googles menu bar c. ‘Camera’ – allows you to take picture with device camera and then use in Baiboard a. ‘Search Web’ – directly links to Google Search – type in name of something you want an image of and then select from search results. Step 3: Image is ready for use – see how it can be manipulated Step 4: Hold on image and wait for pop-up menu to appear below image for more options. Example uses on teaching rounds: Take a picture of a patient’s EKG – pull it up on BaiBoard 3 and annotate on it.
