Directions from Johannesburg to Mashatu Game Reserve / Pont Drift
From Johannesburg/Pretoria take the N1 to Polokwane (formerly Pietersburg).
Drive into Polokwane CBD and turn left into Market Street (signs to
Dendron overhead). Continue on Mark Street through town and onto
the R521 to Alldays.
From Polokwane please follow signs on the R521 past Dendron and
Vivo to Alldays. Please note, this is a rural road and is unfenced,
please take care and look out for potholes, pedestrians and freeroaming herds of goats and cattle.
At Alldays turn right (R521) to Pont Drift.

- JHB to Polokwane 300km
- Polokwane to Pont Drift 205km
(Drive time is approximately 5 ½ hours from Johannesburg)
Please note:
Please note that the last unleaded fuel station is at Alldays and is not
operated 24 hours a day. We recommend you fill up in Polokwane
before continuing to the Pont Drift Border Post, a distance of
approximately 200km.
