Foil Xpress with Auto Position - Cyclone Cylinder Option Set Up Guide
Foil Xpress printer must be in Cylinder Mode & the Cylinder Option & Cylinder Table
must be attached to the printer before printing cylindrical items (such as pens, pencils,
markers). Follow these steps to put Foil Xpress printer in and out of Cylinder Mode:
Turn the printer ON. Press and release both PRINT buttons. This will move the printhead
mechanism towards the front of the printer, and the print table/bed will move to the right.

Table/Bed
Now that the print bed is moved to right of HOME, place the black Cylinder Table on the larger
print bed. This table will protect the surface of the print bed.
Black
Cylinder Table
There is a silver Knob located under the black Cylinder Table. Snap the Knob in place – making
sure it is completely in the hole – otherwise it will hit the print bed when it returns to the
HOME position.
Knob
Press and release the RESET button to move the print bed back to the HOME position. The
printer is now in Cylinder Mode.
Before attaching the Cylinder Module, place the Black foil (20-88204) that was included with
the Cylinder Module on the printer following the instructions in the user Manual.
Prepare the Cylinder Module so that it can be attached to the printer by placing the pen, pencil
or marker to be printed on the rollers. If the item is a pen, place on the rollers and make sure
that, if there is a clip on the pen, it will not interfere with or hit either the foil or the printhead
once it has been attached to the printer. The photo below shows that the location of the clip
must be no further than the white line referenced in the photo. Adjust the Back Stop so that
the back of the pen rest against the stop so that it sits properly on the rollers. Note that this
Back Stop can be adjusted up and down to help keep it in position.
