Starting off in 1949, the MotoGPTM World Championship is the oldest of all World Championships
and is the undisputed top division in international
motorcycle racing. This extreme popular series
nowadays thrills millions of fans all over the
world and is known for exciting racing, high
performance, and the very latest technology.
World Championship titles are awarded
in three categories: the elite MotoGPTM
class, Moto2 and Moto3.

In the MotoGPTM the Safety Cars are
technologically innovative, high performance BMW M cars. For their mission as
lead cars on the motorcycle racing scene
they are specially modified in the BMW M
factory. Their outstanding driving properties
make them the perfect cars to any situation
out on the racetrack. The same applies for
all the other vehicles in the fleet.
