Gino Tubaro was born in 1995 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied
electronics at ORT Technical School (Escuelas Tecnicas ORT), he graduated with the
highest average in his specialization and is now studying electronical engineering. As a
young inventor, received two awards given by the World Intellectual Property
Organization (WIPO / OMPI) endorsed by the UN. These awards were given to
commemorate the day of the Inventor. The first was in 2008: Gino was awarded the
"Best young inventor" after having presented devices about safety at home and mini
robots.
In 2010 was the winner of the "Inventive Olympics". In 2014 was chosen as
one of the ten most outstanding youths in Argentina by JCI TOYP. Moreover, in 2015
he was featured as "Alumni of the Month" worldwide by the United States Department
of State and the Embassy of the United States in "recognition of his leadership in
creating innovative solutions to help people with disabilities live without limits. "At 16,
he invented the "Sound Cube", a musical instrument similar to the Theremin, but
smaller and much lower cost.
In 2012 he was a speaker at TEDxRiodelaPlata where presented the "Energy
Thief" and "Sound Cube". TED is a prestigious non-profit organization dedicated to the
"ideas worth spreading". Likewise TEDx offers the possibility of organizing a separate
event like anywhere in the world.
In 2013, Gino was selected to participate in the National Youth Science
Camp (NYSC), a program sponsored by the State Department of the United
States, the state of West Virginia and the National Youth Science Foundation.
Also in 2014 gave his second talk at TEDxUTN, this time, talking about
his idea of "Super Darwin-man', it was about how we might have super skills
from super physical disabilities.

Also in 2014, Gino co-founded a company/foundation called Darwin
Research, in order to experience the new disruptive technologies that today are
still not public, those are 3D printing, virtual reality, criptocoins (bitcoin/litecoin),
education 2.0 among others technologies.
Gino is leading the production of 3D printed prosthetic devices in
Argentina. Until today, were created four prosthetic hand, and those are fully
functional.
Now a day, are being designed new prosthesis using a system
engineered by Gino called mechanomyogram, which can "hear" the movement
of muscles, this sensor does not touch the skin directly, so this allows us to
stimulate an antagonist muscle (opposite to the is this using to driving the
prosthesis) and give to the user the feeling of holding an object, compared to
previous models, this does not need surgery to place the electrodes.
Gino worked nearly a year leading the national program "Argentina in 3D", of
"Jefatura de Gabinetes de Ministros", under presidential control. He left the comfort of
working for the State for his personal venture, Atomic Lab. There, he is dedicated to
invent solutions for people who need them most and many other inventions. Today
facing the development of various inventions, from the most advanced 3D printed
prosthetic hand and arm, a "dynamic braille" that allows read books without digitizing to
3D printers made from cellphone screens to recycle the tecnoscrap of world, among
other things.
