Coach Todd Vasey has served as the head football coach of the Dean College Bulldogs for ten
seasons compiling a 70-30 overall record.
During Coach Vasey’s tenure the Dean College
football program has been committed to
recruiting, developing and promoting quality
young men who aspire to be “champions in
their lives, in the classroom and on the playing
field.” The three pillars that are the foundation
of the Dean College Football Program are
character, academics, and football.
As head coach of the bulldogs Coach Vasey
has had nine consecutive winning seasons and his teams have won the Northeast Football
Conference title four times. Coach Vasey has been voted Northeast Football Conference
‘Coach of the Year” in 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011.
The bulldog football program is also the only team in the
Northeast Football Conference history to win three consecutive
conference championships in 2007, 2008, 2009.
At the conclusion of the 2011 season the Bulldogs were invited
to the prestigious Valley of the Sun Bowl in Glendale, Arizona,
where they were victorious and finished the season ranked #8
nationally in the final NJCAA poll.
Coach Vasey and his staff are extremely proud to of coached
three all Americans, four conference players of the year, 37 first
team all-conference players and 32 second team all-conference players.
During the 2010 season Coach Vasey achieved a coaching milestone, becoming the Dean
College head football coach with the most wins in the school’s history.
Coach Vasey who also serves as Associate Athletic Director at Dean College, holds a
Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska and a Masters in Education from
Providence College.
Coach Vasey is also a proud member of the Rhode Island High School Football Coaches
Association Hall of Fame.
