Age-Group Coordinator

The Age Group Coordinator (AGC) is typically college level and/or high school students
who have served in previous years and are in their Jr. or Sr. year. The position is for all 5
camp sessions. AGC should be passionate about sports, Christ & kids. We are looking for
mature Christian men/women with athletic backgrounds and experience working with
children to fill these roles. The AGC should be comfortable leading a small team of staff
and volunteers, and facilitating spiritual and athletic initiatives with their age group.
Primary Responsibilities:










Main teaching instructor at individual athletic stations
Set positive example of sportsmanship and integrity to entire camp staff and campers
Direct spiritual and athletic activities for 3-6 teams and their coaches
Maintain enthusiasm while facilitating drills and team initiatives
Open camp day in prayer and/or lead morning stretching
Set the tone for energy in age group assignment
Help set-up fields and clean up fields each camp day
Anything else Camp Directors need that may arise throughout camp session
Participate in Pray & Play ministry throughout summer
Promote the vision of Skybacher Ministries
