WEEK 2 & 3 ~ TERM 2 ~ HOME LEARNING: DUE DATE: TUESDAY 9th MAY START BY PLANNING YOUR HOME LEARNING TASKS IN YOUR DIARY AND SPREAD YOUR WORKLOAD OVER THE NEXT 2 WEEKS. ANZAC DAY COMPREHENSION TASK: Please read instructions on the ANZAC Day document below (next page). There is also a copy of the document on the ANZAC Day blog page. You can type your answers on a Google Doc and share it with Miss Smith OR you can type your answers in a comments box on the 4CS Blog (ANZAC Day page). You must number all of your answers, proofread your final responses and complete the task to a Grade 4 standard. READ! READ! READ! For a minimum of 15 mins per night, 5 nights per week. Remember that you should also have an adult read to you at least once a week. Don't forget to fill in your diary & circle your total number of reading nights. MATHS: (a) Continue to learn your tables by using the following link: https://tablestest.com/ Please note: there is no expectation for you to know all of your tables on the day that the homework is due. This is just a guide for those students who need to learn quite a few tables & for those students who are making smart choices by learning their tables each week. I can guarantee you that you won't be able to learn them all if you leave it until the end of the year. You will also face great difficulty completing Year Five Mathematics. It is an expectation that all Victorian Grade Four students know the multiplication tables up to 10x10, by the end of this year. I suggest that each week, you slowly start learning them. Always choose a multiplication table that you are not confident with. MATHS: (b) A Race Against Time Lapse Project. Click on the project below and read the instructions very carefully. Complete your project on an A3 sheet of paper (please see me if you require an A3 sheet to complete your project on). I will only accept projects that have been completed to a Grade Four standard. Please put effort & time into completing your work so you can submit it with pride, by the due date (in 2 weeks). 4CS ~ Home Learning Weeks 2 & 3 ~ Term 2 ~ 2017 ANZAC Day - BtN TASK: Watch the video link below and answer the following questions. * You can type your answers on a Google Doc and share it with Miss Smith OR preferably; type your answers in a comments box on the 4CS Blog (at the bottom of the ANZAC Day page). * You must number all of your answers, proofread your final responses and complete the task to a Grade 4 standard. http://www.abc.net.au/btn/story/s3991546.htm 1.
