Introduction of District Teams
District teams play same weekend of Inter-county Championships.
Best two District teams integrates into the Championship.
Team one plays team three and team two plays team the district team (Only three
teams qualify for quarter-finals stage from each group, team placed four remain senior status and team five and
six into relegation play-off)
District Teams have no member of inter-county panels (Thus allowing games during All
Ireland Championship games)
Co. Board to review proposals, debate and vote on same at February 2013
meeting.
