Profile Key Prerequisites

 Use profile key HEATT07A_COMMENT to insert a value into the Comments
field in Employee Additional Pays. The Profile Data values are:
 N (default) to not populate the Comments field with a value
 Y to populate the Comments field with the File Type selected on the import form, e.g.,
TIMECENTRE, Adjustments, Kronos_L or Kronos_M
 Any other value to populate text manually entered in the Profile Data field by the user,
e.g., Timeclock Import

Profile Key Prerequisites
• HEATT07_EXTERNAL_PAY_TYPE_CROSSWALK_WARNING
 Use profile key HEATT07_EXTERNAL_PAY_TYPE_CROSSWALK_WARNING
profile key to display a warning message when:
 In program HEATT07A.FMX, a TIMECENTRE-07a record is skipped because the external
pay type parsed from the file record is not set up in program HEATT08A.FMX – Timeclock
Crosswalk.
 In program HEATT07S.FMX, a TIMECENTRE -07s record is skipped because the external
pay type parsed from the file record is not set up in program HEATT08A.FMX – Timeclock
Crosswalk.
 The Profile Data values are:
 YES (default) or any other value to display the warning message: “WARNING: -Timeclock
Crosswalk not found for external pay type.”
 NO to not display the warning message

Profile Key Prerequisites
• HEATT07B_LV_XWALK_SORT_ORDER
 Use profile key HEATT07B_LV_XWALK_SORT_ORDER to determine the
order in which leave code crosswalk records are sorted. The Profile Data
values are:
 ASC (default) to sort the leave crosswalk records in ascending order. If this profile key
equals any value other than DESC or is not defined in program AMPRF01A.FMX, the
leave crosswalk records are automatically sorted in ascending order.
 DESC to sort the leave crosswalk records in descending order.

Profile Key Prerequisites
• HEATT07B_EMPLV_AUTO_DISPLAY_MSG
 Use profile key HEATT07B_EMPLV_AUTO_DISPLAY_MSG to display a log
message when the following criteria are met:
 Program HEATT01B.REP – Timeclock Edit/Exception is run with the Report Only
parameter set to Yes.
 The HEATT07B_EMPLV_AUTO_DISPLAY_MSG Profile Data Value equals Y;
 The employee’s leave taken record included in the Timeclock Import file is associated
with a leave plan that does not exist in program HELVE01A.FMX – Employee Leaves for
that employee; and
 The Auto Setup parameter equals yes for the leave plan in program HMLVE01A.FMX –
Leave Plans.

Profile Key Prerequisites
• HEATT07B_EMPLV_AUTO_DISPLAY_MSG
 The message displayed on the report is: “LOG: Employee_no: [999999] employee leave missing for leave code and plan: [X 99]. Employee leave
will be created with autosetup when Timeclock Report Only = No. Validate
Leaves update flag: N. Auto setup flag: Y. HEATT07B trace: emp_lv_auto7b”.
The auto setup process is run to create an employee leave record when the
preliminary attendance record leave code and leave plan are updated.
 Set the HEATT07B_EMPLV_AUTO_DISPLAY_MSG Profile Data Value N
(default) or do not define the profile key in program AMPRF01A.FMX to
prevent this message from displaying on the Timeclock Edit/Exception
Report

Leave Auto Setup Rules
• When an employee submits a leave taken record and the leave plan
requested does not match the leave codes/plans defined in the Leave
Plan Crosswalk table, the Timeclock Import process will automatically
add the leave plan to the employee’s record, if the leave plan is
defined as an Auto Setup leave plan in program HMLVE01A.FMX –
Leave Plans.

Creating the Timeclock File Layout
• Weidenhammer will use program HEATT05A.FMX – Time and Attendance
Import File Layout to populate the initial Timeclock File Import file layout.
• Delimited and fixed width files use the Start Position field in Time and
Attendance File Import Layout to determine the order or location in which
the data element occurs in the physical data file.
• For delimited files, the Start Position should contain the physical order the
data element is located on the record (i.e., 1,2,3,4, etc).
• For fixed width files, the Start Position is the column location on the record
in which the data element begins (i.e., 1, 16, 18, 50, etc). The Length field is
used to determine the end position for the data element.
• The Ref No field in program HEATT05A.FMX – Time and Attendance File
Import Layout is used to determine the database column in which the data
element from the file should be stored. It does not represent the location
of the data element in the import file.
