EASYCARE VIRTUAL TRAINING (EVT) The instructions below will show you how to login to EasyCare Virtual Training how to create logins for your dealership. You’ll also see how you can monitor the progress of the dealerships training. Before you log-in – make sure you are using Internet Explorer to get onto the web. EasyCare VT will not run correctly for you on programs like Mozilla. Also, make sure you are using Internet Explorer 7 or higher. You may experience problems with the videos if you are not. If you have any questions regarding the information below please contact Nicole Whelan at EasyCare at 678-225-1000 ext 2075. How to Log-In 1. Go to www.easycarevt.com 2. Enter your username and password provided for you 3. The first time you log in, you will be taken to your profile screen – 4. Update your password, phone number and password reset question 5. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen. Then click Main Menu to get back to the main screen. How to create logins for your dealership 1. Under ‘Quick Links’ click Manager Users. 2. On the ‘User Management’ page, click ‘Create User’ 3. Enter the following information on the screen: a. First Name b. Last Name c. Email Address d. User Name (use email address) e. Password i. We ask that you use easycare1 for everyone’s password. They will be prompted to change it the first time they log in, as well as enter their phone number and create a security question/answer. f. Active User – Leave as Yes when creating new accounts g. Designate someone at the dealership to be in charge of creating and removing users. For this particular users account, click the Yes button for ‘Ability To Create/Edit Users’ (*only users at GM/Dealer Principal and Sales Management level can have this ability). h. Access Level – determines the training course for the user and permissions i. GM/Dealer Principal 1. Has access to view everyone’s training progress 2. Can create/edit users (if given ability) ii. Sales Management 1. Has access to view everyone’s training progress, except for those at GM/Dealer Principal level 2. Can create/edit users (if given ability) iii. Sales Associate i. 1. Can only view their own training progress iv. F & I 1. Can only view their own training progress v. Service 1. Can only view their own training progress Once you have entered all of the information for that user, click ‘Add User’. At the top of the screen it will tell you ‘User Successfully Added’. To create additional users, continue the same process. To Edit Users – For updating the users information or resetting their password 1. On the ‘User Management’ screen, click on the drop down box under ‘Active Users’. Click the drop down box to find the user you wish to edit. Click ‘Select User’. 2. Edit the user’s information, and then click ‘Edit User’ at the bottom of the screen. At the top of the screen it will tell you ‘User Updated Successfully’. Follow these steps to change the users password if they have forgotten it. To Remove a User 1. On the ‘User Management’ screen, click on the drop down box under ‘Active Users’. Click the drop down box to find the user you wish to edit. Click ‘Select User’. 2. Go to the ‘Active User’ box. Click ‘No’. Then click ‘Edit User’ at the bottom. The user will no longer have access. To start the training: 1. Take a look at the Getting Started Guide found on the main screen. It is a screen shot by screen shot instruction guide for how to take the training. 2. Continue to follow the guide til you complete the training. To Monitor Training Progress There are some different ways for you to monitor the dealers training progress. Here are instructions for each of those ways. 1. On the main page under ‘Quick Links’ click on ‘Training Reports – User’. 2. In the middle of the screen you will see all of the users for your dealership with check boxes next to their name. Check the boxes for the users you wish to look at, or click the ‘Check All’ button. Then click ‘Get User Reports’ at the bottom of the screen. 3. When the report generates, you will see each person listed alphabetically by last name. 4. Some users will have more training courses listed than others because of the access level they were set at. 5. The first column lists the category name, the second lists the name of the course, and the third lists the number of chapters in that category. The last column shows the status (Not Started, In Progress, and Completed). 1. Another way you can monitor the training is by clicking on ‘Training Reports – Content’ under ‘Quick Links’. 2. You will be given a list of all of the training content. Check the box for the training category you would like to monitory. Then click ‘View Selected’. 3. You will see different courses listed based on the different access levels the training is designed for. The overall progress of the dealership is given, how many times the course has been failed, passed, and taken, and their average testing score. Now click on a course to view each individual chapter. 4. You will now see a list of each of the chapters in that course, a breakdown for each, and the average score. 5. For a list of each individual users progress for each chapter, check one of the chapter boxes and click view selected. Each user will be listed with the total number of times they have failed, passed, and taken that particular chapter, and the most recent date and time that they took it, and their most recent score.
