Tell students that each Mini Poster displays a mnemonic device to help them remember the steps in the writing process. Ask volunteers to read each Mini Poster aloud, while remaining students perform the featured action word. Call on students to explain the purpose behind, or provide examples of, each strategy. Handy Hands-On Handouts Copy and distribute the five Hands-On Strategies Reproducibles before your next writing activity. Have students store the reproducibles in their writing folder.
