TERMS & CONDITIONS
TARIFFS CHANGES: All tariffs quoted are subject to change, without prior notice,
however rates quoted for confirmed bookings will be honoured.
TARIFFS INCLUDE: Luxury accommodation. Two game drives per day. Optional walking safaris.
TARIFFS EXCLUDE: All food and beverage (you bring your own). Chef at Galago is also
excluded. Staff gratuities.
ACCOMMODATION: VUYATELA LODGE
The camp is an exclusive, private camp, self-catered and fully serviced. All food and
beverage requirements should be supplied by the guests. Vuyatela’s rate is inclusive
of a chef who will prepare the food you supply.
Suites: All five suites comprise bedroom, dressing-room, bathroom, separate lounge,
private teak deck, air-conditioning, fan, mosquito net.
Main Lodge: Includes a large double deck, outdoor dining, bar overlooking the watering
hole, suspended bird watching tower. Internet access. A Library. Open vehicle game
drives. Walking safaris. Gym and relaxation room.
GALAGO CAMP
The camp is an exclusive private camp, self-catered and fully serviced. All food and
beverage requirements should be supplied by the guests. Djuma is able to provide a
chef at R650 per day to prepare the food you supply.
Facilities: Five en-suite, air-conditioned bedrooms sleeping ten people. Fully equipped
kitchen. Indoor and outdoor cooking facilities. Swimming pool. Game Viewing vehicle
with a Ranger and Tracker. Serviced rooms and kitchen.
Rates Include: Fully serviced and equipped camp. Two safaris (game drives)
per day. One guided bush walk per day.
CHILDREN: Children of all ages are welcome at Djuma Private Game Reserve.
Babysitters are available by advanced request.
PAYMENT: Direct Bookings: A deposit of 50% of the total accommodation charge is
required to confirm a provisional reservation and full payment is required four weeks prior to
arrival. Please note that all bookings are considered provisional until deposit is paid, deposit
is due fourteen days after invoice accepted. We accept all credit cards
except Diners Club.
CANCELLATIONS: Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Four weeks before arrival - 50% of full amount
Two weeks before arrival - 75% of full amount
One week or less - 100% of full amount.
ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE: Guests may arrive any time from 12:00pm (noon), and rooms
are to be vacated by 11:00am.
WHAT TO TAKE: Comfortable walking shoes, sun hat, sunglasses, sun block, cameras and
coloured clothing, swimming costume, warm jackets are essential in winter (May - October)
DISTANCES: Johannesburg to Djuma ± six hours (± 500 km). Nelspruit to Djuma ± three
hours (± 250 km).
DIRECTIONS TO LODGE: From Johannesburg or Pretoria: Take the N12 to Witbank, then
to Middleburg. Take the R540 to Belfast, Dullstroom, Lydenburg, Origstad and through
the Strydom Tunnel. On approaching Hoedspruit take the R531 to Klaserie, Acornhoek
and then follow the signs for Sabi Sands to Gowrie Gate. Entrance is R110 per vehicle
and R 20 per person. Go directly to the camp you are booked into. Both Vuyatela and
Galago Camp are 2 km from the Gate. Djuma is two and a half hours drive from Kruger
Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) and one and a half hours drive from
Hoedspruit Airport.
