For 2017, we have added the PGA Junior League for 14-16 year olds, participation in the North Bay League, Sunset Clinics, and a revamp of the U.S. Kids Clinics. This very basic clinic is designed to show juniors how to hold the club and have fun. Clinic includes putting and hitting golf balls, cartoon cutouts, obstacles, marshmallows, and stickers! $15.00 for two days Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 27 and May 28 September 16 and September 17 U.S. Kids Camp For juniors 7 to 12. Each camp consists of learning golf fundamentals, swing mechanics, putting, rules, etiquette and on-course play. Low student to instructor ratio. Includes entry into U.S. Kids Learning Program and Level 1 materials. Fee includes certified instruction as well as an official hat, bag tag, and snacks and lunch each day. $250.00 per session. Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. June 19 – June 22 June 26 – June 29 July 10 –July 13 (Girls Only) July 24 – July 27 U.S. Kids Club Clinics For juniors 7 to 12. These weekly clinics will be held on Saturdays starting in April and ending in September. Each clinic focuses on developing skills needed in the U.S. Kids Learning Program and provides complementary Level 1 materials. Each additional level is $25. $250.00 for summer or $45.00 per month. (Member price is $35 per month.) Level 1 - 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. and Level 2 - 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. Private lessons are offered at a reduced cost of $20 per half hour. These weekly clinics are scheduled to coincide with our PG&CC Summer Sunset Bar on Fridays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Juniors will be taught correct techniques, test skills challenges, and play games following the U.S. Kids Learning Program. If our dates and times don’t match your needs you can schedule a private group clinic based on your schedule. Weekends, mornings and evenings are available. Minimum of 3 juniors. Great way to get friends and older juniors to either pick up golf basics or hone individual skills. 5 PGA Junior League – Two Age Groups This highly anticipated and extremely popular PGA Junior League is back for a 3rd year. Traveling league members practice weekly and play several scheduled matches against neighboring clubs throughout the year. The regular season is from May to the end of July. Post-season begins in August. PGA Junior League fees include a team uniform, practices, green fees, championship fees, lunch, bag tag, year-end BBQ, and instruction! Private lessons are reduced to $20 per half hour. Cost for program: $200 for PG&CC members or $250 for non-members. Ages 9-13: (Juniors under 9 will be considered if skill level is acceptable.) Juniors must be no older than 13 as of July 31st, 2017. Practices will be held on Saturdays and scheduled matches are typically scheduled on Saturday or Sunday during June and July; schedule TBA.
