Queensland Genomics Health Alliance w w w . q g h a . o r g QGHA: Data Management Effective research data management is a cornerstone of the responsible conduct of research. Sounddatamanagementprocedurescan: • Increasetheefficiencyofresearch • Helpguaranteethequalityandauthenticity ofdata • Enabletheexposureofresearchoutcomes throughcollaborationanddissemination • Provideforthereproducibilityof experimentalandcomputationaloutcomes • Facilitatethevalidationandverificationof results Queensland Genomics Health Alliance w w w . q g h a . o r g Shared Resources • Support ‘common project needs’ across projects and the overall Alliance. • Shared resources may include, but not be limited to: project communication and marketing, Data Entry staff, Bio-informaticians and a Coordinator of Genetic Counsellors. • The final allocation of Shared Resource Pool Fund will be established through requirements assessment against the successful project applications. The Program logic directs the evaluation and frames the questions and enables adaptive management and learnings across the program. The Program Logic determines the type of evaluation to be conducted: 1. Needs Assessment 2. Process Evaluation 3. Outcome Evaluation 4. Impact Evaluation Queensland Genomics Health Alliance w w w . q g h a . o r g Project Requirements • Section C: Project Plan, Budget, and Logic (Weighting: 25%) This section focus on the proposed project plan, hypothesis, clear deliverables and milestones; a realistic and defensible budget within the limits set by QGHA; and includes a sound project logic supporting an effective roll-up to program level to identify and manage risks, inter-project dependencies and collaboration opportunities. The key outputs and deliverables should provide a solid foundation and detailed scoping of future QGHA projects in the context of the QGHA’s long-term goals and objectives. • C.1 Project Plan, hypothesis, milestones, and proposed project timelines and deliverables.
