How Consignment Works
The Right Spot Consignment Shop LLC accepts quality, pre-owned furniture and both interior and
exterior home accessories. Items must be clean, and in good condition. The Right Spot LLC will
determine those items acceptable to sell in the shop.
Items may be pre-approved for consignment by sending photos, with description and desired sales
price to [email protected] or consignor can stop by the shop Thursdays - Saturdays
from 1 - 5 p.m. or by appointment. For larger pieces, The Right Spot LLC will travel to consignor’s
location, after an item has been pre-approved.
Consignor must provide a suggested sales price with each item to be consigned. Price should be
based on quality, style and market demand, with the goal of selling within the first 30 days of its
consignment period. Any historical or anecdotal information provided is helpful. The Right Spot LLC
will reduce sales price after each 30-day interval.
Consignor will pay a one-time $10.00 consignor fee and sign a 90-day contract for each submitted
item. All items will be showcased in The Right Spot’s historic home shop site, and may be highlighted
on social media networking services and/or online through The Right Spot’s website. The Right Spot
LLC will not be held responsible for damage, theft, or loss of consigned items under any
circumstances. Merchandise must be covered under Consignor’s homeowner’s insurance
policy during the consignment period. At the end of the 90-day consignment period, consignors
will be asked to pick up all unsold items within 7 days. Any items not picked up will be disposed of at
The Right Spot’s discretion.
The Right Spot LLC offers consignors 50% of the final sales price. Payment checks are issued to
consignors on the 10th day of the month following the sale. For example, if an item sells on June 1st,
consignor’s check will be available on July 10th.
The Right Spot LLC offers different terms for crafters who are interested in selling their custom
pieces. The Right Spot LLC offers 60% profit split to crafter consignors. All in-store sales and
promotions apply to these custom items only.
The Consigner and Crafters agree that they own outright the items listed on this consignment
agreement. The Right Spot LLC has the right to photograph consigned items and to retain the images
for use in any materials chosen.
