Prevention Aims
• We want to empower people to make healthy choices around
physical inactivity, smoking, high blood pressure, elevated
cholesterol and obesity to reduce their risk of cardiovascular
disease.
• We want to reduce the number of people who smoke, are
physically inactive, make unhealthy diet choices or live with
undiagnosed high blood pressure or elevated cholesterol.
• We will focus work on people and communities at highest risk of
cardiovascular disease.
• We will support those tackling the wider environmental factors
that affect cardiovascular health.’
