Medal Design Competition
Energise Me organises the Hampshire School Games, a multisport competition that takes place every year providing schools and
competition for young people aged 7 to 16. This year we are expecting approximately 2500 young people to converge on Aldershot
for two days of fantastic competition in June.
Now is your chance to design the medals that will be awarded at the Hampshire School Games 2017 to first, second and third placed
teams/competitors.
Entry Information
Open to any school aged child attending school in Hampshire & IOW.
Entries must be made on the attached template.
Closing Date for designs is Friday 17th February.
Energise Me would like to take photographs and/or video of the winner for promotional purposes at the Hampshire School Games.
These images may appear in our printed publications, on video, in the media, on our websites, or on all four. We will not include any
personal information in any image without prior consent.
To comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, we need your permission before we take any images or video footage. The parent or
guardian of the winner will be required to fill out and a sign photo consent form.
Design Information
The medal should not depict a sport or sporting activity, it should be your own interpretation of the Hampshire School Games 2017.
What would you like to see on the medal you receive?
The medals will be cast in metal and no colour can be used.
The Event is known as ‘Hampshire School Games’.
It is a multisport event so please try to not focus on one sport.
Please take into account the School Games values which are: Honesty, Passion, Determination, Team Work, Self-Belief and
Respect.
The 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed medals will be 50mm in size so please ensure your design is simple and uncomplicated.
Prize Information
The winner will be invited to the Welcome Ceremony of the Hampshire School Games 2017
The winner will be presented with a framed medal of their design
The winner will be awarded a £50 gift voucher
The school at which the winner attends will be offered the chance for a Hampshire Talent Athlete to attend the school, to talk to a
class or an assembly.
