Listening To Books on Your Computer
You’ll need to download both the “ReadHear” Software and “Learning Ally Audiobook Manager” on each
computer you would like to listen to your audiobooks on. You will only need to do this once. In your Learning
Ally account, go to “install audiobooks” and choose the PC/Mac icon, then follow the prompts.
Step One: Add ReadHear – (RH) Book playback software for your computer
a) Login to your account, click on “Install Audiobooks” tab then follow the prompts.
b) (ReadHear Tip: To turn off “automatic player voice” when you first go to use this software
go to “options” ->“customize”->select “player voice” and check “mute player voice”)
c) Problems Authorizing ReadHear? Unblock these sites.

Step Two: Add Learning Ally Audiobook Manager—(LAAM) Syncs books to your Computer
a) This program downloads and syncs books right to the ReadHear software. Be sure to
designate “ReadHear software” when prompted to name a player.
b) Network Errors when downloading through the LAAM?
