Plan 1 presents an aerial view that includes the southern part of the Appeal site (including the glasshouses and large arable field to the south). The aerial view, which was captured in 2009, has been downloaded from Colchester City Council’s mapping website https://stratus.pbondemand.eu/connect/colchesterborough/?mapcfg=localdevelopmentframework Plan 2 is as Plan 1, on which is also shown the routes of public right of way footpaths within the site, information downloaded from Essex County Council’s mapping website http://www.essexhighways.org/Public-Rights-of-Way/Map-of-the-Public-Rights-of-Way.aspx The routes of tracks that cross the arable field and which provide the existing alignment for public footpaths 4 and 5 are also highlighted for clarity. Plan 3 is as Plan 2, on which is also shown the boundary of the Dedham Vale AONB, information downloaded from the MultiAgency Geographic Information for the Countryside (MAGIC) website (Natural England datasets) http://magic.defra.gov.uk Figure CO2.2G is presented for illustrative purposes and was prepared on a ‘best fit’ basis using overlay mapping techniques.
