Explore the ‘Outdoor Classroom’ through a range of creative and fun activities to inspire
children to connect with nature and enjoy the natural world around us.
We can bring a range of natural play and learning activities to your school or group delivered as either
single sessions (suitable for individual classes or afterschool club activities) or full and half day programmes
(working with groups across the whole school). We deliver a range of programmes targeted across the
learning spectrum from pre-school/early years to primary and secondary schools. We also offer specialist
training for teachers, playworkers and support staff around Children’s Learning and Play in the Natural

Wild Play and Bushcraft
World Jungle’s natural learning and play programme aims to engage children to appreciate the world
around us whilst also learning how to protect the environment for future generations.

School Trips and Group Visits
Enjoy a full-day outdoor experience with World Jungle at Breakheart
Quarry in the hills above Dursley, Gloucestershire. Discover this unique
environment which is recognised as being regionally important for its
geology, ancient woodlands and supporting a number of rare species
including the dormouse. Participants will be able to explore the variety of
habitats and wildlife, enjoy taking part in natural learning and play activities
whilst also learning how to protect the environment for future generations.

Staff Training Programme
We have delivered training to hundreds of teaching staff, play workers, childminders and nursery workers
including for Devon County Council, Surrey County Council, Somerset Play Forum, South West Play
Celebration, Barnardo’s, individual play settings and schools. Prices for staff training start from £200.
Children's Learning and Play in the natural environment
In this training we explore the many issues around children's learning and play in the natural environment
and how we can connect children with nature and inspire them to enjoy the world around us. It aims to
develop staff confidence working with children outdoors, offering lots of practical ideas and activities to
use in your own sessions including many fun games, shelter building, fire lighting and outdoor cooking.
Issues around risk management and health & safety will also be covered.
