ONE MORE CHANCE FOUNDATION
In 2012, One More Chance Foundation, Inc. was founded by
Joan C. Holmes, as a Nonprofit organization. The foundation
maintains a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit, Public Charity status. Our
goal is to provide to Performing Arts Students, Film Internships, that are designed to prepare students for a career in
the film industry.
Vision
Through our Internship/Mentoring Program, 300 Performing Arts students per year, will
go through our Mentoring Program. We strive to successfully prepare the interns to have
real-life Film-making experiences. Our program will help students to further develop their
artistic skills and talents. Teaching integrity in Film-making is an important part of the
“Student Film Internship Program.”
One More Chance Foundation’s mission is to provide Film Industry Internships for low
income students, ages 13-18, that are enrolled in existing Performing Arts Programs in
other schools. By using Film Industry Mentors, Student Interns will participate in professional real-life experiences in the Film Industry.
This opportunity will better prepare students for a career in the Performing Arts and
Film-making.
The Student Film Making program includes: Film Making Internships, Film Research,
Mentoring, CPR Certification and SAT Test Preparation.

MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER
Joan C.Holmes
Welcome to our nonprofit organization, One More Chance Foundation Inc. It is a dream
come true for me, as a Founder, to have this opportunity to change lives. Having always
been dedicated to teaching, mentoring and counseling groups of all ages--from the very
young--to adult men and women, I look forward to the change that we can make in a life.
Students bloom and excel when properly taught and inspired. Our programs are
designed to enable students to be successful, and to make wise, life-altering decisions.
We also encourage them to pass the knowledge they receive from us—on–to the next
generation.
Please visit our website to see the programs that we offer. One More Chance Foundation aspires to give students that participate in our programs, a “Hand Up” not a “Hand
Out.”
As we pursue these endeavors with excitement and foresight, please join us and watch
us grow, as we enthusiastically move forward to make this world a better place.
